- Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, engineers, and field personnel to ensure accurate system coordination and constructible designs.
- Review architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings for project integration.
- Select appropriate fire alarm equipment and support permitting and AHJ approval processes.
- Respond to plan review comments, implement design revisions, and contribute to design-build and value engineering efforts.

Requirements
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Designer with 2-5 years of experience. The role involves designing and developing fire alarm systems for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects, ensuring compliance with NFPA, IBC, IFC, local AHJ requirements, and project specifications., * Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
- 2-5 years of fire alarm design experience.
- Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire alarm requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or HydroCAD, and fire protection design software.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Revit experience is preferred.
