Senior IT Service Desk Technician

• Deliver 2nd/3rd line support resolving escalated tickets from the wider service desk.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Support and maintain Hyper-V virtualised infrastructure.
• Configure and manage networking equipment, with a focus on WatchGuard and Draytek firewalls.
• Support LAN/WAN setups, VPNs, Wi-Fi solutions, and general network infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain client infrastructure via RMM platforms, including patching and backup verification.
• Support Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware tooling, with exposure to SentinelOne beneficial.
• Provide support across Windows and Mac environments (Mac exposure a bonus).
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, and mentor junior members of the service desk where needed., Windows Server, Microsoft, Office 365, Azure, IT Support, It infrastructure, service desk, MSP, IT Managed Services, 2nd line, 3rd line, huddersfield, Bradford, Wakefield, mirfield, Yorkshire

• Proven 2nd/3rd line experience within an MSP environment.
• Heavy server experience, with strong Windows Server and Hyper-V knowledge.
• Solid Microsoft 365 administration experience (Exchange Online, Azure, SharePoint).
• Strong networking knowledge - firewalls, routing, VPNs, DNS, IP, topology.
• Experience with WatchGuard and/or Draytek firewalls highly advantageous.
• Exposure to SentinelOne or similar EDR/AV platforms beneficial.
• Exposure to Mac OSX support beneficial.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, WatchGuard etc) are a plus.

• Salary £30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience)
• Working hours 8:00am-5:15pm, Monday-Friday
• 22 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 25 with length of service
