WMOS Configuration Engineer

A client of Insight Global is looking for a REMOTE WMOS Configurator to join a team within their IT Supply Chain organization. This team is responsible for configurations, integrations and troubleshooting within Manhattan 2015. The ideal candidate will be a SME in Manhattan WMOS configurations and integrations. This person will be responsible for working with PM’s and PO’s to translate business requirements into technical requirements that can then be created into stories for development teams to carry out. They will also conduct root cause analyses and create and execute on design plans for custom configurations that support resolution of operational issues and bottlenecks within Manhattan WMOS. They will then work with DC’s to schedule rollouts and provide end user training on new features. A background in development is a plus.

5+ years of experience with Manhattan WMOS version 2015

-Experience designing and implementing custom configurations for Manhattan WMOS

-Experience collaborating with PM’s and PO’s to translate business requirements into technical requirements that can then be created into stories for development teams to carry out

-Experience identifying issues through root cause analyses and providing appropriate production support

-Experience preparing and executing test cases

-Experience coordinating with warehouses to schedule rollouts/deployments

-Experience writing implementation documents

-Experience working with end users of the WMOS system to understand operational pain points and provide trainings on new features as a permanent solution

-SQL, MySQL, or Oracle knowledge -Development background (web and cloud: java backend and react front end)

-Experience with AI (Claude, Google AI)

-Experience working w/ EPI (External Parcel Interface) software
