MMIS (Medicaid) Data Conversion Manager

As an MMIS Data Conversion Manager, you will lead end-to-end Medicaid data conversion initiatives for MMIS and MES implementations. You are accountable for conversion strategy, execution, quality, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring data accuracy, governance, and CMS readiness across mock and final conversion cycles.

Responsibilities

· Lead and manage MMIS data conversion activities including planning, mock conversions, final conversion execution, and post-conversion validation.

· Oversee cross-functional conversion teams and coordinate dependencies across implementation, testing, and go-live activities.

· Leverage AI-assisted and intelligent automation techniques to accelerate mapping reviews, data profiling, reconciliation analysis, and defect pattern identification while ensuring human-in-the-loop oversight.

· Own conversion plans, schedules, scope control, risk management, and issue escalation.

· Ensure conversion outputs meet CMS requirements, audit standards, and client approval criteria.

· Monitor conversion quality metrics and certify readiness prior to production loads.

· Nine (9) or more years of experience leading large-scale data conversion or data migration initiatives, preferably within Medicaid or MMIS environments.

· Strong experience managing mock and final conversion cycles, defect resolution, and reconciliation activities.

· Three (3) or more years of experience applying AI-assisted or intelligent automation capabilities to improve data conversion efficiency, quality, or reporting within governed environments.

· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client-facing delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience using AI-assisted techniques to accelerate conversion design activities such as mapping validation, test query generation, and documentation.

· Experience supporting CMS audits or state certification activities for MMIS implementations.
