Job description

Keep a nine-county network of schools running strong. As LCSC’s IT Coordinator, you’ll plan, configure, and support the technology infrastructure connecting our cooperative and its member districts from classroom Chromebooks to core network systems in a flexible, hybrid role built for a self-motivated problem-solver. Your Role Will Include:

  • Manage member technology and network infrastructure, including LANs, WAN, Windows and Linux virtual servers, workstations, iPads, and Chromebooks.
  • Analyze current network architecture and recommend enhancements or redesigns.
  • Coordinate network expansion, upgrades, and new site installations with cooperative and district partners.
  • Monitor and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Implement and maintain backup, failover, and disaster recovery systems.
  • Administer business information systems such as student information and learning management systems.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration, engineering, or infrastructure support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS; Linux administration preferred.
  • Highly experienced with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Preferred: experience working in a school or public agency environment.

  • Pay Range: $70,000-$76,000.
