Job description

As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing hardware components and products based on product requirements, architecture, and design specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle, from concept and design to verification and industrialization. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design and develop hardware components for ETC (electronic toll collection) and ITS (intelligent transportation systems), transforming complex product demands into innovative solutions
  • Define and implement product requirements into hardware architecture and design specifications
  • Develop advanced analog, digital, power supply, and high-frequency circuit designs, ensuring quality and performance
  • Support approvals, industrialization, and maintenance to deliver exceptional hardware products
  • Create simulations, algorithms, and software to validate and optimize hardware functionality
  • Maintain comprehensive development documentation to ensure clarity and consistency throughout the product lifecycle, We believe hiring is a human decision. Requirements

  • Technical vocational training (HTL, FH, TU) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Hardware Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven expertise in system and circuit design, with a focus on EMC-compliant design and testing
  • Analytical thinking, a structured approach to problem-solving, and a passion for mastering new technologies and concepts independently

Experience with technical documentation and design specifications Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
