Indiana Statesman Webmaster job in Terre Haute

Will post each issue of the Statesman to the Indiana Statesman website (www.indianastatesman.com), the mobile site and Issuu.com, including special issues, and post ads to the website and mobile site. This individual will work under the direction of the digital Media Manager but report on a routine basis to the Editor-in-Chief of the Statesman., Provide technical support to other staff members, when needed. Make technical recommendations. Produce, demonstrate and receive feedback about ideas. Create multimedia designs in liaison with animators, programmers, writers, video producers, sounds engineers and artists. Develop and use skills and expertise in appropriate design packages such as Photoshop, InDesign and AfterEffects. Keep up-to-date with technological and software developments. Test products and review postings for errors and make amendments.

Indiana State University student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours., High School diploma or GED, Able to adapt to change, Able to learn and retain information, Able to multitask, Able to read English, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions, Able to work both independently and collaboratively, Able to work carefully and politely around others, Attention to detail, Demonstration of high ethical standards, integrity, professionalism, politeness, and courteousness, Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, teambuilding and problem solving skills
