Senior Network Operations Engineer

• 8+ years of experience in Network Operations, NOC, Infrastructure Monitoring, or IT Operations.
• Strong experience with monitoring and alert management.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk.
• Experience with SolarWinds and/or Dynatrace.
• Experience with event management, incident management, and escalation processes.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and switching.
• Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred
• Monitor enterprise network, server, and infrastructure environments 24x7.
• Manage monitoring alerts, events, incidents, and escalations.
• Analyze alerts and logs to identify performance issues and potential outages.
• Work with Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring platforms.
• Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, thresholds, and reports.
• Perform event correlation and identify recurring operational issues.
• Troubleshoot network, Linux, system, and application monitoring issues.
• Collaborate with Network, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams.
• Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and problem management.
• Follow ITIL-based incident, change, and event management processes.
• Maintain monitoring documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Support production environments and participate in on-call/shift operations when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve monitoring coverage, alert quality, and operational efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
