Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Secret cleared Mission Systems Analyst in Colorado Springs, CO to support a critical aerospace and defense mission focused on advanced testing, modeling, simulation, and mission analysis efforts. This individual will join a highly collaborative team responsible for supporting both ground test and flight test activities through data analysis, simulation support, post-run assessment, and customer reporting.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting test and evaluation activities, mission analysis, signal processing, systems engineering, or simulation environments. The selected candidate will work directly with test data, develop automated analysis solutions, perform technical assessments of system performance, and communicate findings to both internal stakeholders and customers.

The team is heavily involved in the next generation of test architecture development and uses advanced analytical tools and scripting to support mission-critical decision making. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside engineers and analysts supporting complex aerospace and defense systems while contributing to future test capabilities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Perform quick-look analysis of test execution data and identify significant findings

Conduct detailed post-test analysis using analytical tools and scripting languages

Develop and maintain scripts that automate data analysis and reporting workflows

Analyze simulation, ground test, and occasional flight test outputs to evaluate system performance

Generate technical reports, briefings, and presentations for customers and program stakeholders

Support verification, validation, and troubleshooting efforts within modeling and simulation environments

Maintain technical documentation throughout the system and test lifecycle

Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and program teams to identify performance trends and recommend improvements

Support integration activities associated with test architecture, simulation environments, and analytical toolsets

Interface with customers and leadership to communicate analysis results and test outcomes

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
  • 2-9 years of systems/software analysis and testing
  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB and/or Python for data analysis and mission analysis activities
  • Experience developing scripts and automating analytical workflows
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting large datasets from tests, simulations, or operational environments with BMDS/OPIR domain knowledge strongly preferred) - Missile Defense domain experience (MDA / BMDS / C4ISR) or related
  • Mission/Simulation analysis experience
  • Test and evaluation (T&E) experience
  • OPIR/Signal processing experience
  • Experience supporting ground test or flight test events
  • Exposure to systems modeling tools such as Cameo
  • Experience with hardware and software documentation
  • Familiarity with verification and validation methodologies in modeling and simulation environments
  • Experience supporting customer-facing technical briefings and analysis reviews

Benefits & conditions

Pay Range: $83,000-135,000 annually. Exact compensation will vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefits are available on day one of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave as applicable by state law.
