Job description

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with program engineers, senior leadership, and Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) teams to develop and implement IT solutions helping to meet BGS government service business objectives., * Leads liaison activities between the business or function and IT and related organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure business objectives are met

  • Leads the education of the Business on IT service offerings
  • Collaborates directly with business or function to understand problems or initiatives, and represents the business or function within IT to engage the right resources, explores alternatives and help deploy the right solution with first time quality
  • Leads development and execution of communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholders
  • Identifies risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments
  • Provides input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensures alignment to quality management solutions for the business or function
  • Accounts for the dollars spent, funding, and affordability in support of their applicable business unit(s) or function(s)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience with product support components
  • Experience with analytics and Gen AI product capabilities
  • Experience implementing a range of IT products in support of a variety of functions: engineering, manufacturing, quality, and/or supply chain
