Job description

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across a variety of projects and support activities, collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver reliable, secure and innovative network solutions., * Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network security).

  • Monitor and optimise network performance, troubleshooting complex issues and applying corrective measures.
  • Configure and manage networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies (predominantly Cisco).
  • Carry out on-site installations and upgrades when required.
  • Provide technical escalation for the support team, offering guidance and mentoring.
  • Conduct network assessments, capacity planning and create documentation to support network stability and compliance.

Requirements

  • CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent experience/qualification) with strong, practical knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.
  • Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel), and QoS.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA/FTD firewalls, wireless solutions (Catalyst or Meraki), and VPN technologies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., PRTG, Wireshark, NetFlow).
