Job description

Seeking application-focused Solutions Architects with a strong Microsoft development background. Candidates must have started as software engineers (.NET) and grown into architecture roles. Not looking for infrastructure, network, or cloud-ops profiles.

Architect will design and guide modern application architecture for web, cloud, and legacy modernization using the Microsoft stack, Azure services, DevOps, reusable frameworks, and secure development practices.

Priority Azure Skills: App Service * App Insights * Key Vault * Azure SQL * API Gateway/Management * OAuth * Azure AD / B2C, Hands-on Application Architect responsible for defining scalable patterns, modernizing legacy systems, guiding cloud migration, and supporting development teams across Microsoft technologies, APIs, microservices, and DevOps., * Design modern application architecture for web, cloud, hybrid, and modernization initiatives.

  • Define reusable patterns aligned with DDD, SDLC/SDL, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Guide cloud migration strategy and modernization of legacy processes.
  • Support development teams with secure, scalable, n-tier application designs.
  • Participate in roadmap planning, PoCs, and architectural governance.
  • Ensure alignment with solution patterns, frameworks, and technology standards.
  • Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud strategy improvements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years software engineering/application development (Microsoft stack preferred).
  • 3+ years enterprise/application/technical architecture.
  • Strong experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with:

  • .NET, C#, Visual Studio, Git/TFS, Azure DevOps
  • JavaScript frameworks: Angular, React, Node.js
  • Azure services: App Service, App Insights, Key Vault, Azure SQL, API Management
  • Microservices, REST APIs, DI, Dapper
  • Containers: Docker/Kubernetes
  • Cloud: Azure (preferred), AWS/Google Cloud Platform
  • Security: OAuth, certificates, encryption, OWASP

Experience with NoSQL, Service Fabric, Logic Apps (preferred).
