Windows File Share Security Engineer

Architect and maintain secure enterprise file sharing platforms across complex corporate environments. Administer stringent NTFS and share-level permissions utilizing role-based access protocols. Monitor unstructured data traffic to detect unauthorized access anomalies and prevent data exfiltration. Execute comprehensive access audits to ensure strict adherence to enterprise security standards. Respond to and rapidly remediate critical data security incidents related to enterprise file services. Troubleshoot complex permission issues to maintain seamless data availability for authorized end-users. Author and maintain technical documentation detailing access controls and enterprise file share architectures. 5 or more years of experience in Windows file server administration and enterprise storage security. Proficiency in NTFS access controls, share-level permissions, and Active Directory implementations. Experience with securing enterprise NAS storage devices including NetApp and EMC architectures. Experience in monitoring SMB and CIFS protocols utilizing data protection tools like Varonis DatAdvantage. Experience with automating complex administrative security tasks utilizing PowerShell scripting. Experience in enforcing role-based access controls and least-privilege enterprise security models. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
