Team Structure

• Manage up to 8 team members

• 6 Software Engineers o 4 Backend Engineers o 2 Frontend Engineers

• 2 QA Engineers, * Drives projects to successful completion

• Navigates difficult delivery and stakeholder challenges
• Leads modernization while maintaining business continuity
• Develops and elevates the engineering team
• Becomes a trusted leader across both technology and business teams

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop software development teams delivering enterprise and platform solutions
• Own delivery outcomes: planning, commitments, execution, and risk management
• Partner closely with leaders across the business
• Ensure high development quality through strong design practices, testing discipline, and code reviews
• Help teams modernize systems while maintaining business continuity
• Coach developers and tech leads through clear expectations, feedback, and career development
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery predictability, reliability, and team health
• Communicate clearly upward on status, risks, and tradeoffs

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven engineering management experience
• Strong architecture background
• Significant project/program delivery experience
• Experience leading teams through complex delivery challenges
• Ability to balance legacy systems with modernization efforts

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making logical decisions
