Hardware Development Engineer (Junior / Graduate)
My client is seeking a Junior / Graduate Hardware Development Engineer to join their expert team, working on the design, development, and testing of advanced products and systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career in high-integrity hardware design.
The Role
You’ll be involved in the full product lifecycle - from requirements capture and system architecture through to electronic and mechanical design, documentation, and production. With a balance of collaborative teamwork and independent responsibility, you’ll bring innovative ideas to life while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
What You’ll Need
- Excellent attention to detail with a drive for quality
- Strong communication and teamwork, plus confidence to work independently
- Proactive problem solver with ownership of tasks
- Adaptable, reliable, and able to work under pressure
Technical Requirements:
- Hands-on approach to design and problem-solving
- Knowledge of electronic schematics and PCB layouts
- Understanding of the full product design lifecycle
- Appreciation of mechanical aspects of product development
- Schematic design and PCB layout
- Design for manufacture and CAD experience
- Simulation, test and debug
- Knowledge of C/C# for tools and test systems
- Familiarity with CPU/MPU architectures
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics (BEng) or equivalent experience commercial experience
Clearance: You must be a British Citizen and eligible for DV clearance
