ERP Systems Analyst

We are supporting a leading organisation in the appointment of an experienced ERP Systems Analyst to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance systems professional who enjoys working at the intersection of Finance, Technology and Business Operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting, optimising and continuously improving the organisation’s ERP environment, with a particular focus on finance and accounting processes.

The Role:

You will act as a key link between the Finance and IT functions, ensuring that systems effectively support accurate financial reporting, efficient processes and ongoing business requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day support and troubleshooting for the ERP system and associated applications
• Supporting and maintaining finance-related ERP modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash Management
• Testing and implementing system enhancements, upgrades and integrations
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring system accuracy and data integrity
• Developing and maintaining reports and reporting tools
• Working with users to understand business requirements and translate these into effective system solutions
• Training end users and maintaining process documentation and standard operating procedures
• Liaising with third-party vendors and IT teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
• Identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement and greater operational efficiency

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience working as an ERP Systems Analyst, Finance Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or in a similar systems-focused role
• Hands-on experience with a major ERP platform
• Strong knowledge of core finance and accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Experience supporting financial reporting, reconciliations and month-end processes
• Experience with SQL or data querying for reporting and troubleshooting purposes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements and practical solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work across Finance, IT and wider business teams
• A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in automation and process optimisation
