Lifecycle Project Manager

• Lead all phases of project management: planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project execution.
• Track and manage project budgets, schedules, and risks.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports, forecasts, and presentations for clients and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and industry standards.
• Mentor and support project team members including coordinators and field staff.
• Monitor projects from conception to completion, ensuring all steps are completed in a timely manner.
• Work with various departments to balance workplan completion, resources, and new business workload.
• Serve as the single point of contact for project-related issues and coordinate redesigns as needed.
• Collaborate with Resource Planners on forecasting crew movement for successful project completion.
• Provide weekly updates to Program Managers and Directors on project statuses.

This role involves managing a variety of low voltage distribution projects, both overhead and underground, supporting the internal Consumers Energy Distribution Design team. The hired candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various departments to ensure project success, including vegetation management, environmental studies, easement access, materials procurement, and financial approvals., * 2+ years of project management and utility experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint or SAP.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines., * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or General Business is a plus.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience related to utility work including LVD, substation, transmission, natural gas, underground utility, or commercial/industrial construction projects., Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
