Overview

Software Team Lead/Manager (C#/.Net) - Sheffield - New Role! (REF37)

A market leading organisation in the Tech4Good space requires a Software Team Leader/Manager to join its growing and successful team!

Suitable candidates will have the following experience:

Strong commercial experience in software development using C# .NET, coupled with circa 2 years experience in a leadership/management role.
Experience leading technical decisions.
Excellent communication skills and the abilities to convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable with Git version control.
Process driven.
Flexible approach and positive attitude.
Familiar with developer tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence.

Note: This section validates capacity to lead teams and set architectural direction.

Responsibilities

Leading two software development teams and helping to drive projects forward.
Managing and mentoring software developers.
Setting and maintaining architectural standards.
Writing and reviewing code.
Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and supporting at product user groups).
