Job description

Your new company

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer-focused Repairs Administrator to join a well-established organisation in Ross-shire. This organisation is committed to delivering excellent services to its customers and communities, with customer satisfaction at the heart of everything they do. Due to continued demand, they are seeking an organised and proactive administrator to support their busy repairs and customer service function. This is a temporary assignment, offering an immediate start in Invergordon.

Your new role

As Repairs Administrator, you will play a key role in providing a first-class customer experience and ensuring repairs and maintenance requests are managed efficiently from initial contact through to completion. Acting as a frontline point of contact for customers, you will manage incoming calls and enquiries, providing accurate information and directing enquiries to the appropriate teams where necessary. You will be responsible for processing repair requests, raising works orders and liaising with approved contractors to ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will monitor repairs from start to finish, maintain accurate records and update internal systems to ensure all tenancy and property information remains current. Alongside repairs administration, you will provide general administrative support across a range of operational functions. This will include managing shared mailboxes, updating and maintaining customer records, processing invoices for completed works, coordinating inspection requests and supporting colleagues with a variety of administrative tasks.

The role will also involve handling customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within an administrative, customer service or repairs coordination environment. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be confident dealing with customers over the phone and via email.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload are essential. You will be comfortable using a range of IT systems and databases and have the ability to maintain accurate records while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Experience within housing, property, repairs, maintenance or a similar sector would be advantageous but is not essential.

What you’ll get in return

In return, you will join a supportive and collaborative team where your contribution will make a genuine difference to customers. You will benefit from a varied and rewarding role, ongoing training and development opportunities, and the chance to build your career within a respected organisation serving communities across Ross-shire.
