Job description

A leading specialist contractor is seeking a Customer Care & FM Help Desk Administrator to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator to develop a career within the facilities management sector, supporting the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance services to a diverse client base. Your new role As Customer Care & FM Help Desk Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the Facilities Management division and act as a key point of contact for clients reporting maintenance issues and service requests. Your duties will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and maintenance requests.
  • Logging and tracking reactive maintenance jobs through internal systems.
  • Coordinating information between clients, contractors and operational teams.
  • Monitoring operative and fleet availability to support service delivery.
  • Updating records and maintaining accurate job information.
  • Assisting with scheduling and administrative processes across the FM team.
  • Supporting billing, invoicing and general office administration.
  • Providing administrative support to the Facilities Management Manager.
  • Learning operational processes and contributing to the smooth running of the FM function.

Requirements

  • Previous administration, customer service or help desk experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn new processes.
  • Facilities management, maintenance coordination or help desk experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
