Job description
A client in the Vancouver, Wa area is looking for a Security to join their team for a 6-9-month contract to hire opportunity. This position would be hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Vancouver, Wa. In this role you will design, implement, and support security aspect focused on data protection, identity, compliance monitoring, and security within Azure. In this role you will be working with the security team assist in a Data Loss Prevention and Data Integrity project focused on Purview. In this role you will be working in a Microsoft shop that is in the beginning stages of their journey into Azure. In this role 70-80% of your time will be focused on Purview as this organization is in the process of building it out. The remaining time will be work focused on Azure Security, Entra ID and more.
Requirements
3-4+ years of experience as a Security Engineer
4+ years of experience with Purview: Data loss prevention, sensitivity labeling, experience configuring, managing, and optimizing Purview Data Loss Prevention policies across M365 and cloud workloads.
4+ years of experience with Entra ID, Identity Management, Conditional Access - experience with compliance and controlling identity and access management access
3+ years of Cloud Security Experience, Azure preferred, AWS or GCP
Able to be onsite 3 days a week in a hybrid working environment Microsoft Security of Compliance Certifications: SC-400, SC-300, AZ-500, or MS-102
Experience working in a regulated environment
