Job description

  • Liaise with Security, Operations, Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Vendors to manage product lifecycle, fixes, features, and enhancements.
  • Manage product workbooks and backlogs through Jira.
  • Develop low-level designs that meet bank requirements and security demands.
  • Deploy and validate lower environments for persistent chat solutions.
  • Create documentation and deliver training to support operational transition of new services.
  • Perform advanced product testing and validation.
  • Own the accuracy and completeness of all technical documentation.
  • Review requirements for technical feasibility and represent deployment needs for new services.
  • Participate in regular backlog grooming and feature release planning.
  • Ensure non-strategic social and chat products are decommissioned from the enterprise.

Requirements

We are seeking a Persistent Chat Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise chat platforms, Linux-hosted persistent chat, and application deployment and a proven ability to deliver secure, compliant, and reliable messaging services at scale., * Enterprise-level engineering experience, preferably within financial institutions.

  • Hands-on experience with persistent chat applications such as Mattermost or Rocket.Chat on Linux.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools, including Jira.
  • Exceptional documentation practices and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cloud-enabled instant messaging platforms such as Symphony, Microsoft Teams, or Slack.
  • Experience deploying applications to mobility frameworks including MAM and MDM.

Preferred Skills:

  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
  • MySQL database administration or development experience.
  • Clear, methodical, and confident communicator and team player with individual accountability.
  • Proactive risk identification, mitigation, and resolution.
