Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of complex enterprise network environments. This role is ideal for a highly experienced networking professional with a strong background in enterprise infrastructure, cloud networking, network security, and large-scale network modernization initiatives.

The Senior Network Engineer will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments., Network Architecture & Design

• Design and implement scalable, highly available enterprise network solutions.
• Develop network architectures supporting data center, campus, WAN, and cloud environments.
• Create technical documentation, network diagrams, standards, and implementation plans.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives.

Network Implementation

• Lead network upgrades, migrations, technology refreshes, and infrastructure projects.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure.
• Design and implement hybrid connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Drive deployment activities while minimizing business disruption.

Cloud Networking

• Design and support networking solutions within AWS and/or Azure.
• Implement hybrid cloud connectivity using VPN and private connectivity solutions.
• Configure VPCs, VNets, routing, DNS, load balancing, and network segmentation.
• Partner with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.

Network Security

• Implement network security best practices including segmentation, firewall policies, and access controls.
• Support Zero Trust and defense-in-depth initiatives.
• Participate in security assessments and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to enhance enterprise security posture.

Operations & Support

• Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Analyze network traffic using monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Support capacity planning, performance management, and operational improvements.
• Provide escalation support for critical network incidents.

Technical Leadership

• Serve as a senior-level networking SME for the organization.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors, project teams, and business stakeholders. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
