Job description
- Work as liaison between a diverse array of teams from several technical disciplines both within and outside of Lockheed Martin.
- Facilitate and coordinate technical discussions regarding translation of the system requirements and architecture into a set of agreements on critical design parameters for each party to meet in order to fulfill customer needs.
- Evaluate, communicate, document, and maintain the agreed upon design solution between teams.
- Focus on the physical interfaces (mechanical fit, compatibility, and dynamic interoperability of physical systems) between systems and subsystems in a highly complex system-of- systems environment.
- Work both independently and as part of an integrated team to execute detailed action plans to accomplish major efforts involving multiple teams.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s (related Internships/Coops may be considered)
- Hold an Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- Have the ability to work On-Site at our Littleton, CO campus Full-Time
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with 3D parametric computer aided
design (CAD) modeling software; Creo and/or similar
- Experience working with various engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, safety, test, etc.) to develop System Engineering Products
- Must have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to learn
- Knowledge in Systems Engineering concepts and processes
- Demonstrated ability to work within and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience with design, integration and/or test of mechanical systems
- Experience with PTC Creo (and/or AutoCAD programs) to create physical interface models and drawings
- Ability to create and manage Interface Control Documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social skills, and ability to create consensus among peers while forming ?relationships with team members
- Knowledge of Interfaces
- Knowledge of DOORS
- Knowledge of CAMEO
- Knowledge of Requirements
- Knowledge of MBSE
- Experience in systems engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment
- Experience with coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles
- Ability to articulate detailed technical and
programmatic issues to subordinates, peers,
management and customers
- Active Top Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
