HIM Application Analyst

Step into a high-visibility leadership role at the intersection of technology and patient care. We are seeking an experienced Application Lead - HIM for a strategic 6-month back-fill engagement. This is a premier opportunity for a seasoned Healthcare IT professional to provide technical oversight, mentor a dedicated team, and ensure the stability of critical HIM systems in a complex, enterprise environment., * Leadership & Mentorship: Act as the primary subject matter expert and technical mentor for a team of application analysts, coordinating workloads and prioritizing deliverables.

• System Optimization: Perform fit/gap analyses, document workflows, and lead the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate directly with HIM leaders and clinical partners to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
• Operational Continuity: Serve as the escalation point for complex integrated system issues and ensure seamless continuity of HIM operations.
• Project Oversight: Support small-to-medium scale initiatives, including integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Required:

• Epic Certification is mandatory.
• 6-10+ years of experience supporting healthcare applications or clinical systems.
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer service.
• Participation in a second-level, 24/7 on-call rotation.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare, or Business.
• Direct experience supporting Epic HIM modules and OnBase workflows.
• Epic Gallery project experience (implementation, optimization, or upgrades).

$75 - $80 an hour - Temporary, Contract
