Job description

We are looking for a driven, curious, and talented Senior Data Scientist to join our growing TZAI team and help deliver new data products for our customers. Data is at the heart of everything we do and you will be able to make an immediate impact for our company! This role will be responsible for developing cutting-edge predictive analytics and machine learning models to help our customers make better, data-driven decisions. There is significant room for you to develop models and analytics ranging from time-series forecasting to Generative AI to computer vision. You will regularly work with our customers, designers, and engineers to build products used by leaders across the agriculture industry. You will have the unique opportunity to work across the entire data product lifecycle from customer discovery, exploratory data analysis, model development, and model deployment. If you have always wanted to spend more time experimenting and building, then this is the place for you!, * Through exploration and experimentation, identify opportunities to solve customer problems using machine learning and predictive analytics

  • Experiment, build, test, and deploy machine learning models and other analytic solutions
  • Develop and maintain processes for continuous model evaluation, testing, and re-training

Requirements

Do you have experience in Model deployment?, * Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years in Data Science or related fields
  • 5+ years of programming experience (Python preferred)
  • Proven experience deploying, testing, and monitoring models at an enterprise level utilizing different frameworks (e.g. sklearn, PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.)
  • Design and build agentic workflows that connect data signals to automated action
  • Expertise in at least one subject area: computer vision, time series forecasting, deep learning, predictive analytics
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS preferred).

  • A track record of shipping agentic products in production
  • Experience developing & deploying machine learning models in Databricks
  • Previous Data Science experience in the agriculture and heavy equipment industry
  • Strong ability to communicate technical information and develop products for a non-technical audience
  • A bias towards action, ability to rapidly prototype, and routinely seek feedback.
