Job description
Leidos is seeking energetic, motivated, self-starters for these technically sophisticated and challenging software developer positions. Software Developer Co-ops may develop system software, numerical models, or back-end development. All software is developed and executed in a Linux environment and written primarily in C++. All work is directly applicable to actual military training systems. Co-op students will gain invaluable, real-world experience on state-of-the-art computer-based systems. This co-op rotation will start in January 2027 and conclude in August 2027. Subsequent co-op rotations are available for those who require multiple co-op experiences.
Requirements
u2022 You will be developing software in an Agile environment and you MUST be able to learn and apply advanced software development skills and techniques.\n \u2022 You MUST be able to work in a fast paced, team oriented enviroment.\n \u2022 You MUST be available to work at least 7 months full time as a co-op. \n \n Education: You MUST be Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, have at least a 3.2 GPA, and be able to demonstrate solid C++ software development skills.\n \n Citizenship: You MUST have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance. Employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance.\n, Experience: No past experience is required, however you will be working in a professional environment and contributing to systems that will be used throughout the U.S. Navy. Therefore, you must be dedicated to producing quality work results, and must be extremely attentive to detail.\n
