Mid Level TIBCO BW Software Engineer, * The software engineering team is looking for a TIBCO BW Software Engineer to analyze existing production applications hosted on TIBCO BW. In this role, you will review current implementations in lower environments and actively participate in modernization brainstorming sessions to help rewrite legacy services into Java Spring Boot and MuleSoft.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure and troubleshoot TIBCO BusinessWorks process flows and adapters.
• Analyze messaging patterns using TIBCO EMS, including queues, topics, and durable subscribers.
• Execute data mapping and transformations between source and target schemas.
• Apply basic scripting knowledge to troubleshoot TIBCO Spotfire expressions and BW process logic based on prior analysis.
• Validate data outputs across integrated systems and message flows to ensure system integrity.
• Debug and troubleshoot TIBCO processes until desired outputs and operational targets are reached., * Analyze, configure, and troubleshoot TIBCO BusinessWorks process flows and adapters in lower environments.
• Debug messaging patterns using TIBCO EMS, including queues, topics, and durable subscribers.
• Execute data mapping and schema transformations between source and target environments.
• Participate in design sessions to facilitate the modernization of TIBCO BW services into Java Spring Boot and MuleSoft.

Work setup: 100% Remote, full-time 40 hrs/week schedule; no geographic restrictions within the US as long as valid work authorization is held.

Reason for opening: Modernization initiative aimed at analyzing and refactoring existing legacy production applications hosted on TIBCO BW into Java Spring Boot and MuleSoft architectures.

Deliverables & project scope: Deep analysis of lower environments, mapping current process logic, configuration and troubleshooting of TIBCO BW process flows and adapters, and participating in architecture modernization planning.

Interview process stages: Client evaluation will focus on practical TIBCO BW debugging and Java full stack capabilities. Expect initial technical screen followed by detailed system/architecture discussions.

NON-NEGOTIABLES

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.

TIBCO BusinessWorks (5+ years) - deep hands-on experience configuring, mapping source/target schemas, and troubleshooting process flows and adapters.

Java Full Stack Development (5+ years) - solid understanding of Java systems to support modernization into Spring Boot.

TIBCO EMS (4-6 years) - practical expertise with messaging patterns, queues, topics, and durable subscribers.

NICE-TO-HAVES

MuleSoft architecture and integration experience

Java Spring Boot development experience

TIBCO Spotfire scripting and expression knowledge

DISQUALIFIERS
