Network Security Engineer

o Review, assess, and approve enterprise firewall and network security requests (Port Opening Requests). o Provide security consultation and governance for internal/external network connections rather than performing direct firewall deployments. o Partner with DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and OT teams to guide final solution designs. o Steward relationships with network connection owners to identify, understand, and mitigate security risks. o Support ongoing initiatives, including cloud migrations, tunnel migrations, and firewall rule consolidation/optimization.

o Non-negotiable hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate firewall policy management and rule governance. o Strong networking background covering TCP/IP environments, network authentication, encryption, and perimeter security. o Hands-on experience with site-to-site VPNs, IPsec, and network tunnels. o Hands-on exposure to cloud networking and security (AWS or Azure security groups, routing, and cloud firewalls). o Fluent English communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex security requirements to business and technical stakeholders.
