PC/Bench/Surplus Technician

Networking, Technologies & Support (NTS) is seeking a PC Tech. with 3+ years of experience to provide day-to-day technical support for our client, a large medical university. This role will support the inventory team refurbishing/repairing PCs, printers and peripherals. Determining failures, feasibility of repairs, providing security of hard drives, corrective action, assisting with inventory control, * Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.

• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
• Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
• Setup new user hardware/ software.
• Maintain hardware and software inventory.
• Provide technical assistance for all printers and scanners.
• Escalate incidents to IT Network Administrators, Business Analysts or Developers when appropriate.

• CompTIA A+ (preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience supporting Windows10/Win11/365 desktop/laptop PCs.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs.
• Experience installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops, Servers
• Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems.
• Customer Service Experience a must!
