PC Technician

As a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP), we specialize in managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, networking, and infrastructure support for commercial, healthcare, education, and government organizations., We’re seeking an experienced PC Technician to join our growing team in Roanoke, Virginia. This position is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting end users, and working with desktop hardware, software, and enterprise technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop and laptop computers.
• Deploy, image, and configure Windows 10 and Windows 11 workstations.
• Install and support printers, peripherals, docking stations, and mobile devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
• Perform workstation refreshes, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to end users.
• Create, manage, and close service tickets while documenting all work performed.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and OneDrive.
• Troubleshoot Active Directory user accounts, password resets, group memberships, and access issues.
• Configure network connectivity, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless connections.
• Assist with inventory management, asset tracking, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Support project deployments, office moves, and technology rollouts.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers when appropriate.
• Follow company security policies and best practices.

• Minimum 5 years of professional desktop support or PC technician experience
• CompTIA A+ Certification (Required)
• Strong experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and basic network troubleshooting.
• Experience imaging and deploying computers.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Network+ or Microsoft certification
• Experience supporting enterprise or healthcare environments
• Experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP)
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ConnectWise, AutoTask, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
