Perform technical troubleshooting and repair of complex transportation system hardware across statewide sites. Restore critical devices to operational status by replacing controllers and in-cabinet components. Manage the integrity of physical infrastructure including conduits, wiring, and specialized cabinets. Maintain statewide weather monitoring and real-time traveler information sensors. Execute emergency maintenance for high-availability Traffic Operations Center (TOC) equipment. Supervise node building hardware stability to ensure continuous data transmission for traffic management. Document field maintenance activities and update technical infrastructure inventory logs. 5+ years of experience in the technical maintenance of large-scale industrial or transportation infrastructure. Proficiency in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) hardware and field-deployed electronic devices. Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic controllers and specialized in-cabinet equipment. Experience with physical network infrastructure including conduit installation and low-voltage wiring. Experience with real-time incident management technology and environmental sensor maintenance. Experience in supporting mission-critical 24/7/365 large-scale centralized monitoring systems. Strong communication skills to coordinate repair schedules with operations center personnel.
