Job description

  • Design and develop Java-based software capabilities, enterprise APIs, and RESTful microservices.
  • Integrate modern agentic AI workflows and tools into daily software development processes.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment using Linux, Spring, Git, Maven, and Nexus.
  • Support cloud and database infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB. Qualifications & Compensation, * Develop and implement robust software solutions using modern Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring.
  • Build scalable RESTful web services and enterprise API architectures.
  • Leverage autonomous AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini) for code generation, multi-file refactoring, and test automation.
  • Perform automated unit and integration testing to ensure high software quality and performance.
  • Utilize configuration management and build tools including Git, Nexus, and Maven in a Linux environment.
  • Provide technical mentorship, team guidance, and leadership on software engineering best practices.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum delivery framework.

Telework: This position offers a hybrid schedule requiring an average of two days per week on-site in San Antonio with remote flexibility for the remainder.

Requirements

Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, but not required on day one; U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret or Top Secret clearances are a strong plus., Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Years of experience: 3+ years
