Job description
eir business talent is currently seeking an experienced eCommerce ERP Project Manager for a 2-year fixed-term contract based in Rugby, UK. The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite per week and requires willingness to travel globally to support international projects., * Define Project Scope & Objectives - Collaborate with Heads of IT and business stakeholders to establish clear project goals for commerce platform deployment and ERP integration.
- Plan & Deliver Integration Projects - Develop detailed project plans covering planning, analysis, design, execution, testing, and transition.
- Manage Multiple Initiatives - Oversee concurrent projects involving e-commerce solutions, ERP modules, and middleware within scope and budget.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams - Work closely with internal IT teams and external vendors to implement APIs, data synchronization, and system interoperability.
- Monitor & Report Performance - Track progress using tools and KPIs, providing updates to stakeholders and escalating issues when necessary.
- Risk & Dependency Management - Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, system compatibility, and third-party integrations.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement - Build strong relationships with technology partners and maintain clear communication with business owners.
- Documentation & Compliance - Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration architecture, workflows, and governance.
Requirements
- Experience - 5+ years in IT Project Management focusing on system integration projects, preferably with commerce platforms and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications - PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master (preferred).
- Technical Knowledge - Familiarity with API integration, data mapping, and middleware solutions.
- Methodologies - Proven experience in Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid delivery models.
- Soft Skills - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Tools - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Attributes - Highly organized, analytical, adaptable, with strong problem-solving mindset., Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the specified location or hold a valid long-term work visa.
