Junior Full Stack Software Engineer

With guidance from senior engineers,you’ll:

• Build andmaintainbackend serviceswritten inNode.js/TypeScriptand Ruby/Rails

• Work on some of our full stack, customer facing frontend applications written inNuxt

• Buildinfrastructure as code using AWS CDK, working with our serverless event driven architecture

• Learn and develop on the Salesforce platform, developing batch jobs, and improvements to our quoting tools

• Follow established Engineering development standards and best practices

• UtiliseAI both in the software development lifecycle and in our solutions

• Troubleshoot,investigateand resolve bugs/errors

• Ensure our softwareremainssecure and robust

As our ideal candidate, you shouldpossess:

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug issues and clearly explain your approach

• Working knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js, preferably TypeScript

• Familiarity withcloudinfrastructure, with experience working in one of the major cloud providers, preferably AWS

• Experience with Git and a basic understanding of CI/CD processes

• A confident understanding of the importance of testing in Software engineering

• Ability to work in a structured delivery environment (tickets, priorities, deadlines)

• A collaborative mindset,and open to feedback through pairing,coaching,reviews, and mentoring

• Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements, ask smart questions, and iterate towards solutions
