Job description

Homecare Matters is a regulated homecare provider with a strong focus on strengths-based, relationship-centred care that promotes independence and helps people live well in their own homes.

We are developing our systems so that we can better capture what matters to people, the outcomes they achieve and the difference good support makes - including how it helps people maintain independence and prevent needs from increasing.

We are looking for a highly organised and digitally confident person to help us make this happen by developing and maintaining accurate, efficient and meaningful digital records., Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Organise and maintain confidential digital records.
  • Check information for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
  • Maintain cloud-based files, trackers and document systems.
  • Identify missing information and outstanding actions.
  • Safely redact and prepare confidential information.
  • Use approved AI and automation tools to help process and organise information efficiently and safely.
  • Help create practical workflows so information from different sources reaches the right records.
  • Prepare records, documents and identified actions for management review and oversight.
  • Maintain clear, accurate and auditable records.

AI and automation will be used to support efficient information management, not to replace professional judgement or management oversight.

Requirements

  • Is exceptionally organised and methodical.
  • Has excellent attention to detail.
  • Is confident with Word, PDFs, spreadsheets and cloud-based systems.
  • Is interested in learning how AI and safe automation can improve the way information is managed.
  • Understands confidentiality and data protection.
  • Can follow processes accurately while spotting opportunities to improve them.
  • Is reliable, trustworthy and comfortable working independently.
  • Knows when to ask rather than assume.

You do not need experience in social care. We are much more interested in your ability to organise information, embrace technology and learn new ways of working. Full training will be provided.

Benefits & conditions

  • Casual dress
  • Company pension
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking
