IT Desktop Support (Backfill/Part Time Role)

• Provide onsite deskside and technical support to end users when required.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Support Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 environments.
• Manage and resolve IT support tickets using ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
• Provide basic support for Active Directory, VPN, printers, and networking issues.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with end users.
• Attend one scheduled onsite visit per month to maintain site access and IDs.
• Provide additional onsite coverage based on business requirements.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable IT Support Engineer to provide part-time and onsite technical support as a backfill resource.

The selected contractor will visit the client site once per month to maintain their site access and IDs and will provide additional onsite/deskside support whenever requested.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting end users in a corporate environment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT support tickets, and working with Windows and Microsoft Office 365., * 1-3+ years of experience in IT Support or Desktop Support.

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, or similar IT ticketing systems.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, VPN, printers, and networking.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide onsite support when requested.
• Must be able to travel to Haaksbergweg 16, 1101 BX Amsterdam, Netherlands for the monthly visit and additional onsite coverage when needed.
• Comfortable working as an Independent Contractor under the stated monthly retainer and daily-rate structure.

Pay: €290,00 - €300,00 per hour

• 1101 Amsterdam-Zuidoost: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

• It is part time Backfill position in which whenever the primary engineer is absent or on leave then they will call you in place of that primary engineer and inform you one week before to come onsite location and will give you pay on the basis of days you have worked on plus they will also give you a retainer amount every month. Moreover, the number of days is not fixed in a month because it totally depends on primary engineer absence. Are you comfortable working on it?

Experience:

• IT Desktop Support: 2 years (Preferred)

• Monthly Retainer: €300 per month, including one onsite visit per month to maintain site access and IDs.
• Additional Onsite Support: €300 per day for each additional day of onsite coverage requested.
