Infrastructure Support Engineer

You’ll be responsible for:

• Providing advanced 2nd Line / escalated IT support
• Supporting networks, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls, servers and endpoints
• Troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and VPNs
• Supporting firewall configuration and connectivity issues
• Supporting Microsoft-based workplace technologies
• Assisting with infrastructure upgrades and hardware refreshes
• Coordinating IT support across UK and European sites
• Supporting infrastructure and technology projects
• Working alongside global Infrastructure, Security and Microsoft teams

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong 2nd Line / IT Support experience
• Some hands-on infrastructure and networking experience
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and VPNs
• Exposure to firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi and Windows servers
• Experience within Microsoft-based environments
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• The ambition to develop further across infrastructure, networking and security
• Flexibility for occasional UK and European travel

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong 2nd Line Engineer ready to progress into infrastructure, with exposure to a multi-site European IT environment and wider technology projects.
