Digital Business Analyst

• Lead by example, embodying the Police Code of Ethics and ensuring dignity, fairness, and respect across interactions.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to understand strategic objectives and challenges, and interpret needs to identify innovative solutions.
• Analyse and design requirements for new systems and enhancements, ensuring alignment with user needs and Digital Policing infrastructure standards.
• Provide expert advice on technology change projects using systems analysis and process improvement methodologies.
• Manage small technology projects using project management techniques such as Prince 2, Scrum, DSDM, and Agile.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to promote the Digital Policing strategy and build strong relationships with business functions.
• Diagnose problem situations and deliver effective resolutions to inform senior leadership decision-making.

• Proven experience in business relationship management and stakeholder management.
• Strong background in business analysis, including business systems and process modelling.
• Proficient in requirement gathering for technical solutions.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to challenges.
• A full current UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
• Able to meet Police Vetting requirements, including having resided within the UK continuously for a minimum of 5 years.

We are recruiting for a Digital Business Analyst for a 24-month fixed-term contract to work within West Yorkshire Police Force in Wakefield, with hybrid working options available. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £44,700 per annum and the opportunity to contribute to digital transformation and technology services within Digital Policing.
