Job description
You know how chaotic shop floors can get even on a normal day. Now imagine adding an ERP go-live on top of it. Thatâs why this role exists-keeping transactions clean, accurate, and moving while everyone adjusts to a new system.
Youâll play a key part in helping the teams shift from âhow weâve always done itâ to âhow weâll be doing it going forward,â without slowing production down.
The Role Youâll be the go-to person on the shop floor for everything transactional during UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare. From supporting job movements to making sure inventory records match reality, youâll keep the wheels turning while the business transitions into the new ERP. Youâll also train and coach the Shop Floor Coordinator so theyâre set up for long-term success., * Support daily shop floor transactions during UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare
- Run and troubleshoot job movements, job issues/receipts, production reporting, and inventory transactions
- Monitor and clean up transactional errors before they snowball
- Train and coach the Shop Floor Coordinator on system processes
- Build simple job aids, cheat sheets, and process guides
- Investigate and resolve mismatches between physical and system inventory
- Feed insights back to the ERP project team, highlighting gaps or improvement opportunities
- Act as the go-between for shop floor teams, operations leadership, and the project team
Requirements
Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, * Experience in manufacturing, production, or shop floor operations
- Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems-Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar would be ideal
- Strong understanding of production transactions and inventory control
- Confident training others and supporting change in a real-world environment
- Detail-focused (you notice when somethingâs off and you fix it)
- Solid communicator who can work across operations and project teams without drama
- Calm under pressure-ERP go-lives arenât for everyone, but youâve got the temperament for it
Nice to Have
- Previous involvement in an ERP rollout or Hypercare period
- Experience developing training materials or process documentation
