Job description
- Architect and evolve the core audio and video communication infrastructure that powers our Connected Care ecosystem.
- Design and operate highly available SIP routing platforms supporting real-time communications at scale.
- Scale and optimize media servers, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and signaling environments to ensure exceptional reliability and performance.
- Build intelligent, low-latency call routing solutions that deliver seamless communication experiences.
- Partner with software engineering teams to integrate voice and video capabilities into modern applications and services.
- Investigate and resolve complex real-time communication challenges, including media quality issues, packet loss, latency, and network performance.
- Drive technical strategy and establish engineering best practices for voice and video infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers across the organization and serve as a subject matter expert in telecom and real-time communications technologies., * Own and influence the communication platform strategy behind innovative Connected Care products.
- Work on technologies that directly impact clinicians, caregivers, and patients around the world.
- Tackle complex engineering challenges within real-time communications, networking, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with talented cross-functional teams driving the next generation of healthcare technology.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting real-time voice and video communication systems.
- Deep hands-on expertise with SIP and related telecommunications protocols.
- Strong experience building and operating VoIP platforms in production environments.
- Production-level experience with Kamailio or FreeSWITCH.
- Experience developing backend services using .NET or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network, signaling, and media delivery challenges., * Experience developing call-routing logic and automation using LUA.
- Hands-on experience with WebRTC, STUN/TURN, and browser-based audio/video communications.
- Familiarity with Asterisk platforms and deployments.
- Strong ANSI C knowledge for low-level debugging, media processing, and infrastructure optimization.
