Job description

job summary: Our client is seeking a Technology Manager to join their team. In this role, you will set engineering standards across manufacturing sites, lead high-impact cross-plant projects, and partner directly with OEMs to boost performance and reliability globally. We are seeking individuals who have a deep proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles, advanced analytical and root-cause problem-solving capabilities, and a proven track record of managing cross-site programs.

responsibilities:

  • Define, deploy, and maintain engineering design and operational standards across all manufacturing facilities within your assigned technology family.
  • Manage cross-site technology projects from planning to execution, ensuring they deliver on time and within budget.
  • Turn reliability data into site learnings (Knowledge Transfer Packages) and feed design improvements back to equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Coach local plant teams on new standards and Lean manufacturing principles to boost daily performance.
  • Partner with site, regional, and global leaders to ensure technology goals match business targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • strong background in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment with multi-site project exposure.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical/problem solving tools; strong analytical skills to translate data into improvement actions.

  • Proficient in Lean Manufacturing, root-cause analysis, and data-driven problem solving.
  • Proven track record of managing project scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Independent, proactive self-starter who can influence site and executive teams alike.
  • Willing and open to travel across plant sites.
