Job description

We’re looking to connect skilled React developers with contract opportunities in Worcester, where roles of this type could involve delivering responsive, high-performance web applications within collaborative engineering environments. You could work on projects that span API integration, microservices architecture and distributed systems, contributing to solutions built on modern cloud infrastructure including Azure, AWS and Kubernetes. The work would likely involve partnering with backend teams, understanding data pipelines and quality practices, and shipping features that matter to users., * Developing and maintaining React applications, with scope to influence architecture and component design

  • Integrating front-end solutions with APIs and microservices backends
  • Collaborating with engineering teams across full-stack delivery, including .NET, ASP.NET and Java environments
  • Writing clean, maintainable JavaScript code that aligns with Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Contributing to performance optimization, testing and code quality standards
  • Participating in code reviews and knowledge-sharing within delivery teams

Requirements

  • 5-10 years’ software development experience, with demonstrated expertise in React or NextJS
  • Strong JavaScript proficiency; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and backend services
  • Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
  • Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

  • Agile / Scrum experience
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Docker or Kubernetes
  • Exposure to microservices architecture
  • Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, JavaScript Certification (JSE) or equivalent credential
  • Experience with Excel or data visualization tools
