Job description
- Contributing to the design and implementation of APIs and microservices
- Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews
- Collaborating with backend teams on integration and system architecture
- Supporting continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Troubleshooting and optimizing application performance
- Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
- 5-10 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and hands-on experience with React and/or NextJS
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or containerization
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
- Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, JavaScript Certification (JSE), or freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries (React)
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first styling frameworks
- Competency in SQL and relational database design
