Job description
We’re looking to add talented React Developers to our database for contract opportunities in Manchester. These roles typically involve building responsive, user-focused web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, working within agile teams to deliver scalable solutions across hybrid environments., This is an opportunity to register your interest in future React Developer contract roles, positions that could involve collaborating with experienced engineering teams to develop and maintain high-performance front-end applications. Roles of this type may sit within organisations modernising their technology stacks, where you could contribute to delivering impactful digital experiences for users., * Building and maintaining React components and applications using modern JavaScript practices
- Collaborating with back-end teams and stakeholders to integrate APIs and microservices
- Contributing to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments
- Participating in code reviews and supporting the adoption of best practices across the team
- Troubleshooting performance issues and optimising application efficiency
- Working within agile delivery cycles to meet sprint objectives and release timelines
Requirements
- 5-10 years’ experience in front-end development with strong JavaScript expertise
- Proven experience building applications with React or NextJS
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices architecture and RESTful design patterns
- Experience with version control, CI/CD practices and containerisation tools such as Docker
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency with Excel and data visualisation tools
- Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, JavaScript Certification (JSE) or freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries certification
- Exposure to Azure, AWS or cloud-native development practices
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform or infrastructure-as-code tooling
