Job description
- Developing and maintaining React components and applications
- Writing clean, maintainable JavaScript code following best practices
- Collaborating with backend teams to integrate APIs and microservices
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to improved code quality
- Working within agile teams to deliver features and improvements
- Supporting the deployment and monitoring of applications using CI/CD practices
- Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 5-10 years’ professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React
- Experience building responsive, user-focused web applications
- Familiarity with modern development tools, version control and agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- NextJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API design
- Agile certification or demonstrated agile working experience
- Meta Front-End Developer Certificate or JavaScript certifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
