Cloud Solutions Architect

• Designing cloud solutions across Azure, AWS and GCP, translating business requirements into scalable, secure architectures
• Collaborating with development teams to establish API standards, microservices patterns and distributed system design principles
• Architecting containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes, supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Advising on infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and similar tools, enabling repeatable, version-controlled deployments
• Supporting the integration and modernisation of enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, including SAP RISE cloud solutions
• Evaluating technology choices-including .NET/ASP.NET, Java/Spring Boot, Python and data pipeline tools-and recommending approaches aligned with business goals
• Documenting solution designs using industry standards such as UML and BPMN

• Proven experience designing cloud solutions on Azure, AWS or GCP
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
• Understanding of SQL databases and data architecture
• Experience with at least one modern development stack (e.g. .NET/ASP.NET, Java/Spring Boot, Python)
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-have

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or equivalent cloud certification
• Experience with SAP cloud solutions (SAP RISE, S/4HANA)
• Knowledge of data quality, data pipelines and analytics tools such as Power BI
• Linux and Windows system administration experience
• Familiarity with security concepts such as DMZ architecture and network segmentation
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools beyond Terraform (e.g. CloudFormation, Bicep)
