About the opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Cloud Engineer opportunities, roles that could support organisations in their cloud transformation and infrastructure modernisation initiatives.

Roles of this type may sit within collaborative engineering teams working on cloud-native projects. The work could involve designing and implementing infrastructure solutions across Azure and AWS, optimising deployment pipelines, and ensuring systems are secure, scalable and resilient. You could contribute to the decisions that shape how applications are built, tested and released into production., * Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure and AWS platforms

  • Building and optimising CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and testing
  • Working with containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to manage scalable systems
  • Collaborating with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with microservices and distributed architectures
  • Managing infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform
  • Monitoring and improving system performance, reliability and security across cloud environments
  • Supporting the deployment and integration of modern applications built with technologies such as .NET, ASP.NET and Java

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure and/or AWS
  • Strong knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms
  • Demonstrable experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
  • Understanding of microservices architectures and distributed systems
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification (or equivalent cloud certification)

Nice-to-have experience could include:

  • Knowledge of SAP cloud solutions (SAP RISE, S/4HANA)
  • Experience with data pipeline architecture and data quality frameworks
  • Exposure to Power BI or other analytics platforms
  • Understanding of network infrastructure, including F5 load balancers and DMZ architecture
  • Familiarity with BPMN, UML or other enterprise architecture modelling approaches
