Job description

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future C# Developer positions based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. Roles of this type may involve designing and developing applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem, contributing to microservices architectures, and working with cloud platforms such as Azure. You could be part of a team that values clean code, continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving, with scope to deliver solutions that make a real impact across the business., * Developing and maintaining C# applications and services using .NET and ASP.NET frameworks

Designing and implementing APIs and microservices architectures
Working with Azure cloud services and deploying solutions through CI/CD pipelines
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable code
Writing clean, well-documented code and participating in code reviews
Contributing to database design and optimization using SQL
Working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes where applicable

Requirements

Solid experience developing applications in C# and the .NET framework
Working knowledge of ASP.NET, APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD practices
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Understanding of RESTful API design principles
Familiarity with version control systems and modern development workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-have skills:

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or container orchestration
Knowledge of React or frontend frameworks
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools
Experience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures
Microsoft certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or MCSD
