Job description

We’re looking to add talented C# Developers to our database for future contract opportunities in Birmingham. If you’re experienced in building scalable applications with .NET and modern cloud platforms, we’d like to hear from you., This is an opportunity to register your interest in future C# Developer contract roles within our growing portfolio of technology assignments. Roles of this type typically involve collaborating with development teams to design, build and maintain robust applications using C# and .NET technologies, often within cloud-native environments such as Azure or AWS.

The work could span across microservices architecture, API development, CI/CD pipeline implementation and distributed systems, depending on the specific assignment. You would typically work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to projects that require modern development practices and a solid understanding of contemporary software delivery., * Developing and maintaining C# applications using .NET and ASP.NET frameworks

  • Designing and implementing APIs and microservices architectures
  • Working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP to deploy and scale applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on feature development and technical problem-solving
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
  • Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing application performance

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional C# development experience
  • Strong proficiency with .NET and ASP.NET frameworks
  • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Nice-to-have

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, MCSD or Programming in C# certification
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of reactive frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar patterns
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React
  • Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform)
  • Linux and Windows system administration knowledge
